The 3rd Duvall Dirty Paws Dog Walk, presented by the Duvall Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Saturday, June 23rd, from 9:30am to 3pm at McCormick Park in Duvall. This is a fundraising event to benefit the Duvall Chamber of Commerce. The 5K Poker Walk is a separate fundraising event that is being held on the same day to raise money for the Homeward Pet Adoption Center and The Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. The 5K Poker Walk is being organized and hosted by the Duvall Dirty Paws Dog Walk.
Over 1,000 dog enthusiasts and their furry companions from all around the area are expected to converge on Duvall for this tail-wagging event. There will be demonstrations, free dog contests, vendors, live music, food, hourly prizes, and much more! The registration fee of $10 for one dog and $15 for two dogs provides access to the Duvall Dirty Paws Dog Walk Events Area at McCormick Park, as well as raffle tickets for hourly prize drawings. The first 200 people to register will also receive a free doggie bandana and a wag bag full of gifts and goodies. Participants can register at McCormick Park on the day of the event or register online by June 20 and receive an Early Bird discount! Registration closes at 2pm on the day of the event.
Walkers can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley Trail with their pups as they collect 5 playing cards from designated check points along the way. At the end of the day, prizes will be awarded for the best three poker hands. Everyone is welcome to participate in the 5K Poker Walk. Since this is a fundraising event for our local animal shelters, a minimum donation of $10, in addition to the registration fee for the Duvall Dirty Paws Dog Walk events, is required to collect playing cards in the 5K Poker Walk. Click here for more details about the 5K Poker Walk. 100% of the proceeds from the 5K Poker Walk will go directly to the Homeward Pet Adoption Center and The Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. Participants who raise $100 or more for the 5K Poker Walk will receive free admission to the Duvall Dirty Paws Dog Walk Events Area. Homeward Pet Adoption Center is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter serving the Greater Seattle. The Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is an all volunteer, foster-based group dedicated to the welfare and placement of pets in need. |
