Homeward Pet Rescue/Shelter/Adoption

Motley Zoo Animal Rescue

 Who: The Duvall DirtyPaws Dog Walk is a charity dog walk to raise money for Homeward Pets (Rescue/Shelter/Adoption) and The Motley Zoo Animal Rescue, and the Duvall Chamber of Commerce.

What: We expect folks all around the area to visit Duvall with their dogs and check out our local businesses. Walkers will be given a booklet listing the participating businesses to be stamped when they visit each business. This booklet will be turned in for hourly drawings for door prizes. There will be vendor pop up tents along the Walk, and the Police Canine Unit will be on hand to give a demonstration of their excellent skills. We will have entertainment, contests, demonstrations, vendors, pet information, food and loads of tail-wagging fun!

When: The Second Annual Duvall DirtyPaws Dog Walk will be held August 14, 2010, Saturday 9am to 3pm. (registration ends at 2:00pm) Mark your Calendar!

Where: The walk will be between the businesses at the north end of town to NE Valley Street on the south end of town. Walking will be primarily on the Snoqualmie River Trail and along the sidewalks of town. Registrations, music, vendors, contests and demos will be at the McCormick Park.

 Live music by the Money Creek Mining Company.

We Need Volunteers!

You can be a part of this exciting event, even if you don't have a dog to walk! We need volunteers in preparation for the event and during the walk. Contact Peggy Kahler at 206-947-0615 to learn how you can help.

(Volunteer under 18 needs to bring the Volunteer Registration Form with Parent/Guardian signature on the day of the event).
